Returning to Australian soil, this premier event is set to showcase the region’s top emerging talent, officially qualifying the best Junior riders for a coveted spot in the Junior Men Grand Final.
This Rising Series event, included on the IBC World Tour will take place over the action-packed weekend of July 11th and 12th at the iconic Duranbah Beach (Coral Street, Tweed Heads). Famous. All eyes will be on defending champion Ossian Mackenzie, who returns to home turf to protect his title. With 500 crucial ranking points and a $5,000 USD prize purse on the line, the region’s deepest talent pool will be pushing their limits to dethrone him.
The stakes for the Junior Men Rising Series are incredibly high. The points grabbed here at Tweed Heads are critical for athletes looking to lock in their positions and advance straight to the Grand Final at El Fronton. For its punchy, high-performance waves, “D-Bah” provides the ultimate testing ground for the next generation of champions and acts as a natural amphitheater for spectators lining the beach.
