Erizos Iquique Bodyboard Pro 2022 – day 6 – HIGHLIGHTS

Joaquín Soto from Iquique remains unstoppable in the Erizos Iquique Bodyboard Pro 2022 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the event that is taking place on the La Punta 2 wave at Bellavista beach after eliminating three times in his heat world champion, Hawaiian Jeff Hubbard.

This Friday the direct elimination rounds began and Soto entered the cold waves of Iquique in the fourth heat where he had a difficult rival. In the women’s category, the national representative Paloma Freyggang left everything in the waves of Iquique, but she could not face the Brazilian Isabela Souza and said goodbye to the competition.

While, in junior, the one born in El Tabo, Benjamín Fuentes, stood up for the Chilean delegation and is the only national that managed to advance to the semifinals, where this Saturday, May 14, the competition will end in all its categories.

The Erizos Iquique Bodyboard Pro 2022, which has almost USD 70 thousand to distribute in prizes, is organized by the Iquique Municipal Sports Corporation.
