As the season reaches its peak, Mehdya Beach in Kenitra will once again become the epicenter of the sport’s future. This event serves as one of the final qualifying battlegrounds before the prestigious Gran Canaria Frontón King in October, where the world’s best will fight for the ultimate title.
Following the massive success of its inaugural edition, the 2026 event reinforces the IBC to expanding the Rising Series globally, providing a platform for emerging talents to climb the world rankings.

Mehdi Soaf: I was one of those kids once — passionate and driven, but without the opportunities. After living overseas and seeing what was possible, I came back home to change that. Today, with events now happening on our own soil, and with the support of the Royal Surfing Federation, we’re finally giving this new generation the chances we never had. This is more than a competition — it’s about giving back and building the future of Moroccan bodyboarding.
