The long-awaited final event of the IBC World Tour is here, where the world titles in Men’s Division and Junior Men’s Division will be decided.

The 13th Gran Canaria Frontón King, held in Gáldar, Gran Canaria, Spain, takes place at one of the world’s best waves for bodyboarding, known by many as “the beast.” It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime showcase where the top athletes challenge this natural wonder called El Frontón.

WAITING PERIOD: October 11–25

MEN’S DIVISION

This year several athletes come into the World Championship fight in Men’s Division, so it’s going to be a real show watching them battle to become the new King of the Frontón and, on top of that, the 2025 World Champion.

PRIZE MONEY: $35,000 POINTS: 6,000

JUNIOR MEN’S DIVISION

In Junior Men’s Division, five Rising Series events across different continents have already taken place. This new IBC structure aims to give juniors more opportunities in their home countries, cut costs and travel, and free up more time for school.

After the five events, the top 48 in the rankings earn a spot in the big final in Gran Canaria. Note that all juniors start in Round 1, and to be world champions they must have competed in at least one Junior Men Rising Series qualifying event.
