THE INTRO
The 2026 IBC World Tour season is looking bright. We’ve got a solid mix of brand-new stops and the classic events you already know and love. Without a doubt, this season is going to be a total show, featuring the best international riders across every division. We also want to give a massive shout-out to all the event promoters working hard to keep things professional. From everyone here at the IBC, thank you for your passion and for helping us make another season a reality.

2026 SEASON AT A GLANCE
- The 2026 schedule has a lot of confirmed dates, but some are still pending. We’re still in talks for a few more events, so the list might grow.
- Just like in 2025, we’re sticking with two categories: Prime Series and Rising Series.
- Confirmed Divisions: Women, Men, Junior Women, Junior Men, Master Women, and Dropknee.
- Where We’re Going: So far, we’re hitting 6 countries (Morocco, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, and Spain) across 3 continents. These numbers could go up as more events sign on.
- The Run: The season kicks off in February and wraps up in October—9 months of non-stop action.

PENDING CONFIRMATION
Some events and dates aren’t set in stone just yet. We might add more spots during the season, with some reveals coming as early as January. Expect more Junior Men Rising Series events to pop up; these are crucial qualifiers for the Big Final. Our main goal here is to keep travel down for the juniors so they can focus on school and save some cash.

WHY THE 2026 SEASON MATTERS
The 2026 season is a huge deal for us. First off, we’re stoked to announce the return of the Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival. We missed it last year, but it’s back and better than ever at a new spot: La Nilda. This heavy left-and-right peak is the perfect canvas for our athletes to go big. Plus, this event will host the Dropknee World Championship, where we’ll crown the 2026 king of the most technical discipline in the sport.

We’re also hyped about a new stop in Mexico at one of the world’s best beach breaks: Pascuales. Expect heavy tubes, massive ramps, and some incredible local talent from Mexico and beyond.

We’re really grateful to our promoters for keeping the “Prime” and “Rising” format alive—it worked great last year and really helps the sport grow. We’re still negotiating a few more surprises, so stay tuned!
CROWNING THE 2026 WORLD CHAMPS
We’ll be crowning 6 new world champions this year. Depending on how the points shake out, the title races could go down to the wire in different locations.
- Men’s & Women’s Divisions: The title race is wide open. It’ll be based on a rider’s best results (roughly half the events plus one). It’s anyone’s game!
- Junior Men: Riders have to earn their spot through the Rising Series qualifiers. Only the top 48 make it to the Grand Final at Frontón King in October.
- Junior Women & Master Women: The world titles will be decided in Brazil this September.
- Dropknee: The champ will be crowned at La Nilda, Chile in April/May.

It’s going to be a wild ride with every type of wave imaginable. Whether it’s supporting the next generation or watching the pros push the limits, this season has it all. Thanks for riding with us!

We’re inviting all you bodyboarding fans out there to jump on board for what’s definitely going to be an epic tour. It’s a super diverse lineup with every kind of wave imaginable, setting the stage for huge maneuvers and showing off just how versatile the best riders on the planet really are. This is the ultimate showcase for world-class bodyboarding across all divisions. Plus, we’re staying committed to building up the next generation, giving back to the community, and—of course—pushing the evolution of our sport in every way we can.

On behalf of the IBC World Tour, we want to say thanks again to everyone for sharing this incredible passion for bodyboarding with us.
ARMIDE SOLIVERES: “Bodyboarding just keeps growing. This year is gonna be pure hype, passion, and a community that’s tighter than ever. Long live Bodyboarding!”
