Registrations are now open for the five Junior Men Rising Series event happening in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with the waiting period from August 19 to 24.

In this event, they’ll be giving out 2.500$ and 500 points.
The competition location might change depending on wave conditions. The spots being considered are El Caletón in San Cristóbal or La Cícer at Playa de Las Canteras, both in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This year, IBC and the Canary Islands Surf and Bodyboard Federation are teaming up, so this Grom King event will count towards the Canary Islands Bodyboard Circuit.
This is a huge win for the local bodyboard scene in the Canary Islands! It gives young athletes a shot at qualifying for the final world event, with a chance to become world champions and Canary Islands champions.
Remember, all Junior Men Rising Series events are qualifiers for the big final happening from October 11 to 25 at the Gran Canaria Frontón King. So, junior guys can earn points to secure one of the 48 spots in the final at Gran Canaria Frontón King in October.
Epic Events, along with the IBC World Tour and the Canary Islands Surf Federation, really see this event as a key opportunity for young athletes from the Canary Islands, Spain, and Europe.
And don’t forget — throughout the season, more Rising Series events have been added to the IBC calendar. The goal is to give juniors more chances to compete within their countries, helping to cut costs and travel, so they can focus more on school and training.
