The Rising Series for Junior Men is officially confirmed in Iquique.
This event will take place right after the Prime Series, on June 25th.
This event will have limited spots—only 32 competitors—and will be held in a single day of competition.
The dates for the Iquique Bodyboard Pro, Men and Women Prime Series, are from June 13th to June 24th, with the Rising Series Junior Men confirmed for June 25th.
The 4th edition of the Iquique Bodyboard Pro will be held in Iquique, Chile, at La Punta 2 wave. It’s a right and left wave with huge potential for tubes and maneuvers, with up to 3 sections.
Just a reminder: throughout the season, new Rising Series events have been added to the IBC calendar. The goal is to give juniors more opportunities within their countries, aiming to cut down on expenses and travel, so they can focus more on their academic training.
This way, Junior Men can earn points to qualify for one of the 48 spots in the big final, which will be held at Gran Canaria’s Frontón King in October.
