The IBC World Tour is bringing back the Rising Series format. After a great run last year, we’ve made some tweaks to make things even better for the athletes.
This season, we’re hitting 5 qualifying events across different continents. The goal here is to cut down on travel time and costs, making sure your studies don’t take a backseat while you compete.

JUNIOR MEN RISING SERIES: LEVEL PLAYING FIELD
This season, every Junior Men Rising Series qualifier is worth the same: 500 points. It doesn’t matter what the prize money is for a specific event—the points stay the same.
Another update: only the top two scores for each rider will count toward qualifying for the Grand Final.
We’re doing this to make sure every junior has a fair shot at the Grand Final in October and an equal chance to snag one of those 48 spots.
JUNIOR AGE REQUIREMENTS
Heads up to all Junior Division athletes (guys and girls): there’s a big change regarding birth dates.
Starting this season, if you’re turning 19 in 2026, you can no longer compete as a junior. To put it simply: you can only compete in this division if you’re 18 or younger, and don’t turn 19 until 2027.
JUNIOR MEN RISING SERIES QUALIFYING
All events are worth 500 points, and the top 48 finishers will snag a spot in the Grand Final. This means if a rider hits a Junior Rising Series event and doesn’t do great, they can jump into another one to try and rack up points for a qualifying spot.
In short: your total score comes from your top 2 results to qualify for the Grand Final.
- Prize Money: In the Junior Men Rising Series, the purse is split between the top 4 finishers. For events with a purse of $5,000 or more, the money will be split among the top 8.
- The Cut: We’ll confirm the final 48 athletes before the Grand Final at the Gran Canaria Frontón King. If anyone can’t make it, we’ll move down the rankings to the next available rider.
JUNIOR DIVISION CALENDAR UPDATE

A quick shout-out for a new addition to the schedule: the Future Pro´s at Southern Gold Coast is officially on! It’s happening at Duranbah Beach, Australia, on July 11th and 12th.
