Visit Maldives Pro 2024
Thursday, August 1st. Malé, Maldives.
Today at 8:00 PM “local time,” the technical and competition briefing kicked off at the Visit Maldives Pro 2024 venue.
Competitors from all three divisions, along with the technical staff and various members of the organization, were in attendance.
Over 100 competitors have gathered in the Maldives to take part in one of the most important stages of the IBC World Tour 2024.
They come from 16 different countries: Japan, Venezuela, Spain, Brazil, France, Chile, Réunion Island, Australia, Portugal, Morocco, Hawaii, South Africa, Peru, the USA, Austria, and the Maldives.
Tomorrow, Friday, August 2nd, at 4:00 PM “local time,” the opening ceremony of the event will take place at the venue, and you can catch it live online.
The competition is set to start on Saturday, August 3rd. It looks like the wave conditions are shaping up nicely for that day, with a swell approaching the shores of this beautiful island in the Maldives.
The show is definitely going to be amazing since almost all the top competitors in the world have made their way to the Maldives for this crucial stop on the tour. We also want to highlight the presence of the best local athletes who are eager to showcase their skills.
