All three women's divisions hit the water on day five of competition

Day 5 of the 2026 ArcelorMittal Wahine Bodyboard Pro went down at Praia do Solemar (Serra, Espírito Santo) and it was a total show. Even though the surf stayed pretty small, the riders in the main divisions, Women's, Junior Women's, and Master Women’s, brought serious heat while chasing world title points.
WOMEN'S DIVISION
The premier division set the tone for the day, ripping through Rounds 3 and 4.
- Round 3:
- Round 4 (Non-elimination):The IBC World Tour Top 12 entered the mix.
MASTER WOMEN'S (Round 3)
The top 16 master riders battled it out for Quarterfinal spots.
- Nicole Calheiros locked herself into the Top 8.
- Francis Aoto (BRA) put up a strong 13.25 heat total to advance.
- Maylla Venturin kept her streak going, dropping the high single wave (7.50) and top heat total (14.00) of the division.
- Juliana Dourado stayed on fire, advancing in first place across both divisions today.
JUNIOR WOMEN'S (Round 4)
12 up-and-coming talents faced off in 3-person heats to make the Quarterfinal cut.
- Melissa Souza took top honors in her heat, finishing ahead of defending champ Alice Teotonio
- Sophia Veiga punched her ticket to the Top 8.
- Luana Dourado stayed unstoppable, claiming another first-place finish to keep her double-division run alive.
- French rider Emie Padois put on another solid performance to round out the Quarterfinalists.
