We are excited to announce an update regarding the Itacoatiara Pro event dates for the 2024 season. The Itacoatiara Pro will now take place from June 1st to June 10th, 2024. This change was made to accommodate the rescheduling of the highly anticipated new wave pool competition, The Wave at Praia da Grama, to late September.
This adjustment creates a gap between the Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival, which concludes on May 26th, and the start of the Itiacoatiara Pro on June 1st. This gap enables all athletes to complete the “South American Leg” of the tour in a single trip, streamlining travel logistics and maximizing participation.
Pending final confirmation for the 2024 Iquique Pro, which is in the final stages of preparation, the “South American Leg” will comprise the following events:
- IBC ArcelorMittal Wahine Bodyboard Pro 2024
- Dates: April 18th to 27th, 2024
- Location: Espírito Santo, Brazil
- Women, Junior Women & Masters Women divisions.
- Iquique Bodyboard Pro 2024 (TBC)
- Dates: May 1st to 11th, 2024
- Location: Iquique, Chile
- Men, WOmen & Junior Men divisions.
- IBC Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival 2024
- Dates: May 14th to 26th, 2024
- Location: Antofagasta, Chile
- Men, Women, Junior Men, Junior Woman & Drop Knee divisions,
- Itacoatiara Pro 2024
- Dates: June 1st to 10th, 2024
- Location: Itacotiara, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Men division.
