Taghazout is delighted to open the Spectacular 2024 Taghazout Bay World Bodyboard Championship Morocco Pro.

Agadir, Morocco – The Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation (FRMS) and The International Bodyboarding Corporation (IBC) are thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 Taghazout Bay World Bodyboard Championship Morocco Pro in Taghazout Bay, Agadir, Morocco, taking place from February 20 to March 2, 2024.

Agadir, a city renowned for its stunning beaches and vibrant surf culture, has been chosen as the host for the 2024 Taghazout Bay World Bodyboard Championship Morocco Pro. This event, a collaboration between the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation (FRMS) and the International Bodyboarding Corporation (IBC), is scheduled from February 20 to March 2, 2024. It represents a significant moment in the world of professional bodyboarding. Agadir, with its perfect blend of natural beauty and ideal wave conditions, provides a spectacular stage for the world’s elite bodyboarders to showcase their skills. The championship is set to attract a global audience, further enhancing Agadir’s reputation as a premier destination for international surfing events and highlighting Morocco’s growing influence in the world of water sports.

It is worth mentioning within the brilliant development work by the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Surf in all aspects. 

Both in the production of events at a regional level, as well as the consecration of the desire to make a event of the World Bodyboarding Tour, given that the level of the events and especially of the athletes has been of immense prominence in the world of surfing in general. 

It is worth mentioning the biggest name in Morocco Bodyboarding, the excellent professional Brahim Iddouch, who was the first Moroccan to win a World Tour Event, in Brazil. Repeating the feat later in Antofagasta, winning with class and radical maneuvers.

 Not least important , he was the first Moroccan to win events of the European Tour, consolidating his position as one of the greatest athletes in the world in the history of the sport. 

Encouraging a generation and leaving an exemplary sporting legacy, having as a great example the excellent Anas Haddar, who amazes the world with his aerial maneuvers and super critical moments.
