We are pleased to announce the confirmation of the 2024 Iquique Bodyboard Pro event, which will take place at the stunning Punta 2 wave in Iquique, Chile, from May 1st to May 10th, 2024!
After lengthy discussions and close collaboration with the technical team of the Municipal Corporation of Sports of Iquique (CORMUDEPI), we are pleased to inform you that we have reached an agreement to make this competition the triumphant return of this prestigious event and wave to the IBC World Tour.
This event not only stands out for its sporting importance but also for its social and economic impact on the region. By attracting over 100 international athletes, the 2024 Iquique Bodyboard Pro will boost the careers of local athletes and generate a significant return on investment in the region.
For the IBC, reintegrating the Punta 2 wave into the tour is a source of great satisfaction due to its quality, consistency, and the spectacle it will offer our sport.
