Update of IBC World Tour 2024 Rule Book

Update of IBC World Tour 2024 Rule Book

At IBC World Tour, we are thrilled to present the new version of the 2024 Rule Book. This update represents a significant step in our ongoing commitment to keeping our sport, bodyboarding, at the forefront of professionalization and sustainable growth.

The Rule Book 2024 has been carefully reviewed and drafted to accurately reflect the current reality of our sport. We have strived to eliminate any possible ambiguity and ensure that all rules and regulations are clear and understandable for everyone involved. Our goal is to provide a solid framework that fosters fair and competitive play while promoting safety and integrity in all IBC World Tour competitions.

This update to the Rule Book also marks a milestone in our mission to professionalize bodyboarding. We are committed to raising the level of sporting and competitive responsibility and accountability as never before seen in our sport. We want to ensure that all athletes, promoters, and fans have the best possible experience when participating in our events and support the continued development of bodyboarding worldwide.

To ensure that the Rule Book 2024 is truly representative of international best practices, we have consulted with the leading directors of the most professional entities that organize national tours and rider events. Additionally, the technical team of IBC, representing the global perspective on our sport in the most important and professional regions, has signed the Rule Book, ensuring its validity and relevance internationally.

The Rule Book 2024 is attached to this statement with some specific adaptations for this year. We urge you to review it carefully and familiarize yourself with all the updates before participating in any IBC World Tour event.

We sincerely thank everyone involved for their continued support and dedication to our sport. Together, we are taking bodyboarding to new heights and setting a standard of excellence that will benefit our entire community.

See you in the water!

Sincerely,

The IBC World Tour Team
