Namika Yamashita, Soraia Rocha, and Luana Dourado Cap Off a Historic Day at the 2026 ArcelorMittal Wahine Bodyboard Pro
Final day in Brazil with the new IBC World Tour 2026 world champs!
JACARAÍPE, BRAZIL – September 18, 2026
The 2026 ArcelorMittal Wahine Bodyboard Pro wrapped up today in Serra with an epic final day that crowned the event's last event champions and locked in the IBC World Tour World Titles for both the Women’s Junior and Women’s Master divisions.
The decisive action kicked off at 8:00 AM local time. Japan’s Namika Yamashita—who had already secured the overall World Title the day before—pulled off a historic feat by taking home the Wahine Pro event title as well. With this win, Yamashita scored a clean sweep across the Prime Series, going three-for-three after back-to-back victories at the Maldives Pro, Sintra Pro in Portugal, and now the Wahine Pro in Brazil.

"I shifted my mindset to build up my mental game and just focus on having fun out in every heat—that was really the key to hitting my goals," Yamashita shared after her win.
Meanwhile, Brazil’s own Soraia Rocha snagged the Women’s Master World Title, edging out Portugal’s Marta Leitão by a razor-thin 0.50-point margin in a super tight final.

Over in the Junior Women's division, the up-and-coming talent put on a total clinic. Portugal’s Luana Dourado capped off a dominant season by taking down local favorite Melissa Souza in the grand final, proving her high-caliber riding all year long and earning a well-deserved World Title.
