Matías opens up about one of the most honest journeys on the world tour—a years-long grind of behind-the-scenes sacrifices, self-reflection, and pure hustle before finally landing his very first IBC podium.

Winning in Brazil was anything but normal. Matías reveals that he bought his plane ticket just three days before the event, thanks to some clutch support from his brother and business partner. He went from starting all the way back in the second round to beating two-time world champ Tristan Roberts in a heart-stopping final, ultimately sharing his first-ever podium with three absolute titans of the sport: Roberts, Amaury Lavernhe, and Pierre-Louis Costes.
