The 2021 Pride Annaëlle Challenge is the 7th edition of this invitational bodyboarding event. The break is located off a small island in North Britanny, France.
With a waiting period starting on 21 September and running ’til 15 December, the 16 invited riders will take on this infamous slab over two days of competition.
After a 5 year break, the event was resurrected along with new features: Bigger prize money, live broadcast and stronger level of riders with some big names who already confirmed their presence this year: Lionel Medina, Pierre-Louis Costes, Max Castillo, Isabela Sousa… and more to come !
Annaëlle is a wave that breaks miles away from the coastline, and only in very specific combinations of swell, winds and tides… when all the element line up, it provides an incredible showcase for bodyboarding. Far from an easy event to make happen, the dedication of the team along with the local community and sponsors, it promises that the return of the Annaëlle Challenge in 2021 will be a contest not to miss.
