“We are the social, cultural and sports Club Unión Flopos, made up of a group of committed and organised athletes to spread the potential of Bodyboarding in Arica. We developed one of the most important dates on the world tour, in one of the 5 most dangerous waves in the world. Sporting event that has a continuity of fifteen years and today has a new proposal, focused on activating the micro-economies present around the development of this sporting activity on the coastline. In addition, we want to value the regional identity and appropriation of the Chinchorro cultural heritage linked to sports on the Arica coastline and thus generate culture and sustainable tourism through this spectacular sport.”
